FAQ

Button Badge Supply FAQ

How should I prepare my badge artwork?

Use the correct bleed template for your badge size. Keep important text, faces, or logos inside the safe design area, extend the background to the bleed line, and use artwork at 300 dpi or higher.

How should I print and cut the artwork?

Print at actual size with scaling turned off. Use coated paper or 70 g printing paper, then cut along the bleed line with a circle cutter on a cutting mat for a clean edge.

How do I use the button press?

Clean the metal parts first. Place the back, printed artwork, clear PET film, and top shell in the correct order, then press both sides firmly. Hold the handle down for about two seconds each time.

What should I check after assembly?

Check that the pin is secure, the protective film lies flat, the artwork is centered, and the badge edge is fully sealed with no lifting, gaps, or visible shifting.

Troubleshooting common issues

If the image shifts, confirm the paper was cut to the correct size. If the edge lifts, check component order and press again with steady force. If the film wrinkles, remove dust from the shell and film before pressing.

What printing details should I avoid?

Do not change the template cutting line. Avoid blurry images below 300 dpi. For special finishes such as foil, UV, or layered effects, test a sample first and use suitable paper thickness.

How should finished badges be cared for?

Avoid sweat, oil, and moisture. Wipe the surface gently with a dust-free cloth after long wear, then store finished badges in sealed bags or a badge storage box.

How should unused supplies be stored?

Store blank supplies in a dry, ventilated place away from sunlight, humidity, and sharp objects. Unopened supplies are best used within 12 months; opened supplies are best used within 3 months.

What if I receive defective supplies?

If parts arrive with burrs, size deviation, loose pins, damaged films, or other quality concerns, contact us with clear photos, quantity affected, and your order details.
